Computed tomography (CT) is essential for acute traumatic brain injury (TBI) management, while magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) offers greater sensitivity for specific injuries in subacute/chronic phases. Radiologists must choose the optimal neuroimaging modality for TBI patient care.
