Albumin infusion may decrease the incidence and severity of overt hepatic encephalopathy in liver cirrhosis

Human albumin infusion may prevent hepatic encephalopathy (HE) in cirrhosis and improve outcomes. This study suggests albumin benefits cirrhotic patients, whether or not they have overt HE.
