Abstract:
Glycerolatocobalt(ii) (CoGly) was reported as an electrocatalyst for the first time. Ar plasma was adopted to create a defective CoGly with rich coordinatively unsaturated metal sites (CUMs) as an effective OER catalyst. This study expanded the family of metal-organic complexes for electrocatalysis and proved the critical role of CUMs in the OER directly.
