Asparaginase formulation impacts hypertriglyceridemia during therapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia

Pegylated-asparaginase, used in acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) treatment, causes more severe hypertriglyceridemia than native asparaginase. This condition is linked to osteonecrosis and thrombosis, but not pancreatitis.
