Background:

Physicians require robust training in research methods.
International Clinical Research Training Programs (CRTP) are crucial for advancing clinical research.
Few studies report on multimodal international CRTPs integrating quantitative and methodological principles.

Purpose of the Study:

To describe the development and structure of a multimodal international CRTP.
To provide a comprehensive overview of the training program's design and implementation.

Main Methods:

A three-part sequential learning approach: online self-study, interactive webinars, and an in-person workshop.
Evaluation through self-assessment quizzes, participation rates, and participant feedback questionnaires.
International collaboration between USA and China for webinar delivery.

Main Results:

50 participants enrolled, with 88% completing satisfaction surveys.
Quiz scores varied (31%-73%), with online self-study identified as most challenging.
89% were satisfied with the program, and 98% found it helpful for future research.

Conclusions:

A successful multimodal international collaborative training program was established.
The CRTP demonstrated high satisfaction and engagement among Chinese clinicians.
This program serves as a transferable model for developing similar international physician training initiatives.
