Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo in the Elderly: A Single-center Experience

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) in the elderly shows a higher prevalence of lateral semicircular canal (LSCC) cupulolithiasis. Treatment with canalith repositioning maneuvers (CRM) is less effective for LSCC cupulolithiasis compared to other BPPV subtypes.
