Abstract:
Highlight Kawakami and UMIDAS Inc. developed a novel biliary drainage system consisting of a 7- or 8.5-Fr inside biliary stent, a 4-Fr nasobiliary drainage catheter and a 7.5-Fr pushing catheter. It is the least invasive approach available for the management of acute cholangitis and biliary drainage in patients with benign and malignant perihilar biliary obstruction.
