Background:

Acute alcoholic myopathy is a condition caused by excessive alcohol consumption.

Observation:

A case study involving a patient with acute alcoholic myopathy.
Computed tomography (CT) was utilized for diagnostic assessment.
Imaging focused on the semimembranous muscle and surrounding tissues.

Findings:

CT revealed a low-density, well-defined area within the semimembranous muscle.
Edema of the subcutaneous cell tissue was also observed.
These findings allowed for precise localization and extent determination of the myopathy.
