    Summary

    Continuous vasopressin infusion effectively controlled severe head and neck bleeding in most patients. This treatment rapidly achieved hemostasis with no significant side effects, offering a new therapeutic option for external carotid artery hemorrhages.

    • Infusion duration ranged from 1 to 3 days.

    • Hemostasis was achieved rapidly in eight out of ten patients.

    • Continuous vasopressin infusion is a safe and effective treatment for hemorrhage from external carotid artery branches.
    • This method provides rapid control of bleeding in the head and neck region.
