Summary
Adjuvant hormone therapy (HT) combined with radiotherapy (RT) improves prostate cancer (PC) outcomes. Bicalutamide offers similar survival rates to gonadotrophin-releasing hormone agonists (GnRHa) in PC patients receiving RT.

- The findings support the need for randomized clinical trials to directly compare RT plus GnRHa and RT plus bicalutamide.
