Waist-height ratio: How well does it predict glucose intolerance and systemic hypertension?

Waist-to-height ratio (WHtR) effectively predicts glucose intolerance and systemic hypertension in a Northern Nigerian population. This obesity index demonstrated superior predictive power compared to body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR).
