Unusual features of Hemophilus infections in adults
Abstract:
Infections due to species of Hemophilus, especially H influenzae type B, are usually equated with the pediatric age group. However, during the past several years the medical literature has emphasized the occurrence of such infections in adults. Four adult patients are presented who demonstrate certain unique clinical features which have not been recently or previously reported.
