Rheumatological publications from Malaysia: a bibliometric study.

Malaysian rheumatology publications have significantly increased, particularly in the last decade. However, the quality and citation impact of these studies require improvement for greater global recognition.

- Malaysian rheumatology publications show a positive growth trend, especially recently.
- There is a need to enhance the quality and impact factor of publications.
- Further improvements in research quality are recommended for Malaysian rheumatology.
