Low cholesterol levels in children predict impulsivity in young adulthood

Childhood and adolescent serum lipid levels, particularly total and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, predict adult impulsivity. Low cholesterol in males and high cholesterol in females were linked to disinhibition and thoughtlessness.
