Summary

This study introduces an emergency Traffic Adaptive MAC (eTA-MAC) protocol for Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs). The eTA-MAC protocol significantly improves emergency traffic handling, reducing delay and energy consumption while boosting throughput.
