Anal encirclement using polypropylene mesh for high grade complete full-thickness rectal prolapse: A case report

Summary
This study presents a modified anal encirclement technique using mesh for treating rectal prolapse in elderly patients with comorbidities. The procedure proved simple, safe, and effective in preventing recurrence.

- Mesh-augmented anal encirclement is a viable, safe, and effective alternative for managing rectal prolapse in elderly, high-risk patients.
