Sex-differences in aortic stenosis: Effect on functional capacity and prognosis

Men with aortic stenosis show lower exercise capacity and higher mortality risk associated with a rapid heart rate rise during testing. Women also exhibit reduced exercise capacity, but the factors influencing it differ, and this rapid heart rate rise does not predict mortality.
