  • Systematic literature search of Cochrane Library and PubMed (MEDLINE).
  • Analysis of case series and reports on TAR for hemophilic arthropathy.

Main Results:

  • Encouraging but inconsistent outcomes reported for TAR.
  • High adverse event rate of 33% and infection concerns.
  • Projected TAR survival: 94% at 5 years, 85% at 10 years, 70% at 15 years.

Conclusions:

  • TAR may offer pain relief and improved motion but lacks sufficient evidence for routine recommendation in hemophilia.
