Novice nurses require robust support systems for job satisfaction and retention.
Mentorship and structured support are critical factors in early-career nursing success.
High turnover rates among new nurses impact healthcare organizations negatively.

Purpose of the Study:

To evaluate the impact of a 12-month novice nurse support group on job satisfaction.
To assess the retention rates of novice nurses participating in the support group.
To gather feedback for the continuation and improvement of the support program.

Main Methods:

A 12-month implementation of a dedicated novice nurse support group.
Utilized a pre/post survey design to collect data.
Employed the Casey-Fink Nurse Retention Survey for quantitative and descriptive analysis.

Main Results:

The support group intervention demonstrated positive effects on overall job satisfaction.
Achieved 100% retention of all participating novice nurses within the organization.
Participants strongly recommended the continuation of the support group.
