Converting tequila vinasse diluted with tequila process water into microalgae-yeast flocs and dischargeable effluent

This study valorizes tequila vinasse by cultivating microalgae-yeast biomass. A sequencing batch reactor (SBR) efficiently produced microalgae-yeast flocs (MaY-flocs), offering a sustainable solution for wastewater treatment and valuable biomass production.
