Current rheumatology practice in Ukraine faces several challenges.

Key achievements include the ARU's commitment to education and research advancement.
Significant challenges persist, notably the lack of comprehensive patient registries for rheumatic diseases.
Expansion of public societies dedicated to rheumatic diseases is needed.

Implications:

Strengthening international ties can enhance rheumatological care and research in Ukraine.
Addressing access to immunobiological therapies is crucial for improving patient outcomes.
