Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) image reconstruction is accelerated using a parallel Scaled Gradient Projection (SGP) algorithm on Graphics Processing Units (GPUs). This GPU-accelerated method provides accurate breast tumor detection images suitable for clinical trials.
