Synchronous NET and colorectal cancer development: a case report

Synchronous gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors (GI-NETs) and colorectal cancer are rare. Surgical resection of colorectal cancer is recommended before systemic therapy for GI-NETs if it risks treatment interruption.
