Successful ICSI in Mice Using Caput Epididymal Spermatozoa

Immature caput epididymal spermatozoa, unlike mature cauda spermatozoa, cannot fertilize eggs via IVF. However, both caput and cauda spermatozoa yield viable embryos and offspring when used for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).
