Surgeons' posture and muscle strain during laparoscopic and robotic surgery

Robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery (RALS) may reduce surgeon physical workload compared to conventional laparoscopy (LAP). RALS showed less demanding forearm muscle activity and better posture adaptation, though peak muscle activity was higher during RALS.
