25-vitamin D reduces inflammation in uremic environment

Vitamin D deficiency is common in chronic kidney disease (CKD). This study found that 25-vitamin D supplementation reduced inflammation markers in monocytes exposed to uremic serum, suggesting an anti-inflammatory role.
