Dedifferentiation patterns in DTC: is PDTC an intermediate state between DTC and ATC?

This study suggests poorly differentiated thyroid cancer (PDTC) may be an intermediate step between differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC) and anaplastic thyroid cancer (ATC) in one patient. Genetic analysis revealed a potential stepwise dedifferentiation pathway.
