Feasibility and Effects on Muscle Function of an Exercise Program for Older Adults

- The combined exercise program (W + EX) is feasible and well-accepted in older adults, showing high compliance rates.
- While both groups improved, the W + EX intervention led to superior gains in muscle function, particularly jump force efficiency and power.
- Further investigation in larger trials is warranted to determine if these functional improvements translate to reduced fall rates in older populations.
