[Outcomes of Treatment of Calcaneal Fractures Using Locking Compression Plate with or without Augmentation]

Augmenting calcaneal fractures with cement during locking plate osteosynthesis showed no significant difference in outcomes compared to using the plate alone. Filling the diaphyseal defect is not necessary for improved healing or treatment results in calcaneal fracture repair.
