Abstract:
The American Academy of Industrial Hygiene's effort to accredit academic programs in industrial hygiene will begin operations with its first site visits in the fall of 1988. The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) will be the administrator. It is expected that the first group of successful applicants will receive accreditation in 1989.
