Aberrant resting-state interhemispheric functional connectivity in patients with postpartum depression

Postpartum depression (PPD) is linked to reduced functional connectivity between brain hemispheres, particularly in areas crucial for maternal care. This impairment in brain coordination may underlie the neural mechanisms of PPD.
