Skeletal maturation, including spheno-occipital synchondrosis (SOS) and midpalatal suture (MPS) closure, correlates with palatal dimensions. This study found simultaneous maturation of SOS, MPS, and zygomaticomaxillary suture (ZMS) alongside palatal length increases.
