Optimal Plane Selection for Measuring Post-prandial Blood Flow Increase within the Superior Mesenteric Artery:

Superior mesenteric artery (SMA) flow velocimetry using 2D cine phase contrast (PC)-MRI is sensitive to measurement plane location. The distal straight section is recommended for accurate SMA velocimetry, especially after a meal challenge.
