Abstract:
Degenerative shoulder diseases can be clearly differentiated from each other and from different ailments by careful recording of the case history, through clinical examination, and arthrography. Considerable therapeutic achievements have been recordable from operations on patients who had suffered for years. Eighty anterior acromion repairs had been performed with encouraging results by Juli 1987. Postoperative physiotherapy should be carried out with persistency and may last several months.
