Summary

Combined analysis of CD133 expression and subventricular zone (SVZ) involvement aids in predicting glioblastoma (GBM) recurrence patterns. High CD133 expression, particularly with SVZ-negative and cortex-positive tumors, indicates a higher likelihood of distant recurrence in GBM patients.
