Background:

Open transosseous repair was the gold standard for rotator cuff tears but was replaced by arthroscopic anchor-based techniques.
The biomechanical fixation of current arthroscopic anchor-based rotator cuff repair methods remains uncertain.
There is a need for a reliable arthroscopic technique combining transosseous fixation advantages.

Purpose of the Study:

To describe a novel arthroscopic transosseous rotator cuff repair technique.
To present the Omnicuff device for suture passage in transosseous repair.
To highlight potential biomechanical and cost-saving benefits of the technique.
