Summary

A novel electroencephalography (EEG) method using a bispectral EEG (BSEEG) score effectively quantifies postictal confusion following electro-convulsive therapy (ECT). This BSEEG score aids in monitoring patient recovery and may offer a more sensitive measure than traditional methods.
