Human Lateral Frontal Pole Contributes to Control over Emotional Approach-Avoidance Actions

This study identifies the lateral frontal pole (FPl) as a key brain region for regulating emotional approach-avoidance behaviors. Stronger structural connectivity between FPl and the amygdala predicts better emotional regulation, offering insights into social-emotional disorders.
