Summary

Determining the exact time of vision loss in non-arteritic central retinal artery occlusion (NA-CRAO) is challenging. Retinal thickness changes, measured by optical coherence tomography, correlate with ischaemia onset, offering a potential biomarker for managing NA-CRAO.
