Diffusion-weighted MRI-based Virtual Elastography for the Assessment of Liver Fibrosis

Diffusion-weighted (DW) MRI shows promise as an alternative to MR elastography for noninvasive liver fibrosis staging. This technique demonstrated high agreement with MR elastography in assessing fibrosis stages.
