Background:

Observation:

• A 71-year-old male presented with a two-year history of lower extremity discoloration, progressing to black nodules.
• Physical examination revealed erythematous, violaceous papules with atrophic areas and crusted black nodules.

Findings:

• Biopsies confirmed a diagnosis of angiosarcoma.
• The patient had a history of diabetes, hypertension, and non-melanoma skin cancer.

Implications:

• This case underscores the possibility of angiosarcoma occurring in atypical locations like the lower extremity.
• Early recognition and biopsy are crucial for timely diagnosis and management of this rare malignancy.
