Summary

Pycnogenol® supplementation significantly improved salivary flow and reduced oral dryness symptoms in both diabetic and non-diabetic individuals within two weeks. This natural extract also increased beneficial lysozyme levels, suggesting a potential new treatment for xerostomia.

  • Pycnogenol® presents a promising, novel therapeutic option for managing dry mouth conditions.
