Intraocular Lens power calculation after laser refractive surgery: A Meta-Analysis

Background:

• An increasing number of patients with prior refractive surgery are developing cataracts.
• Accurate intraocular lens (IOL) power calculation is challenging in these eyes.

• To compare the accuracy of various IOL power calculation formulas after laser refractive surgery.
• To identify the most reliable formulas for post-refractive surgery cataract patients.

• For eyes without prior data, the Haigis-L formula is preferred if available.
• If Haigis-L is unavailable, the single-K Hoffer Q formula is a suitable alternative.
