Summary

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) shows promise for treating chronic low back pain associated with Type 1 Modic changes (MCs). HBOT may accelerate the resolution of low-virulent anaerobic infections and reduce inflammation, improving patient quality of life.
