A mild head trauma in an adolescent caused post-traumatic syndrome with cognitive and emotional symptoms. A persistent asymmetry in Cortical Auditory Evoked Response was noted despite normal neurological exams, suggesting a potential biomarker for mild traumatic brain injury.
