Intra-cavitary pulmonary cryptococcoma in poorly controlled diabetes mellitus

A pulmonary cryptococoma, a fungal lung infection, was diagnosed in an HIV-negative Ugandan man with diabetes. Oral fluconazole effectively treated this rare condition, highlighting the importance of considering fungal infections in respiratory cases.

- The patient was successfully treated with oral fluconazole.
