Summary

Three-dimensional (3D) visualization systems offer a safe alternative for routine eye surgery, significantly reducing cataract surgery (PK) duration and improving operative fluency. While effective for PK, 3D systems showed no significant difference in vitreoretinal procedures compared to standard binocular microscopes.
