Edentulism, or tooth loss, is linked to more severe obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). This study found toothless individuals had higher apnea-hypopnea index and Epworth sleepiness scores, indicating worse OSA. Male gender and edentulism are risk factors for severe OSA.
