Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate multiphoton laser scanning microscopy (MPM) combined with fluorescence lifetime analysis (FLIM) for ex vivo lymph node (LN) tissue examination.

  • MPM-FLIM was applied to five deparaffinized human LN tissue samples (three metastasis-positive, two negative) from melanoma patients.
