Hypothyroidism and pregnancy: still a controversial issue

Subclinical hypothyroidism (SCH) in pregnancy is common. Thyroid peroxidase (TPO)-antibody positivity, not levothyroxine adequacy, significantly impacts fetal outcomes in SCH pregnancies.
